This is a personal website about me, Marcus Ganley.

I have spent more than 25 years working across government and private sector in Australia and New Zealand. I have worked as a senior adviser to Finance Ministers in both countries and to a Prime Minister of New Zealand. 

In the private sector I have served as Company Secretary and Executive Director, Legal and Corporate Affairs for Charlton Brown an award winning Australian training organisation.

I am a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and New Zealand’s Institute of Directors.

I work as a Director at specialist New Zealand public law firm Franks Ogilvie.

I have been admitted to practise as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and as a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory. I hold a current practising certificate in New Zealand and, since August 2026, I have authorisation ot practise on my own account.
